alive in korea!

Well, I am in Korea!! I am currently at the mission office filling out a bunch of paper work. The flight was good. It actually wasn't too bad because I was able to sit next to the really chill missionaries so we talked the whole time. :) It was actually pretty fun. And I am here and safe.

I'm super excited and also going out of my mind. This is so right and where I am supposed to be, but it's cray cray!! Hahaha. It's gonna be the best adventure ever. This is the time I have given to the Lord and I am here because I love Him, and I know He loves me more than I can imagine as He does with all of us. This mission is for Him and I will press forward strong for Him.

This is our trio. Sister Kim in the middle is not
only our companion and trainer, but also our interpreter! :)
My other companion (American) is Sister Yokum.

Gangham style!

A picture of the city.

My first Sunday we had dinner at a member's house and one of the things she served
was a whole fish! I was trying to be very polite and follow their culture.
But when I was eating the fish I got some scales in my mouth.
I didn't want to be rude and stick my fingers in my mouth so I grinned
and swallowed the bones! So gross! I was ready to gag!
Turns out you are fine to stick your fingers in your mouth.
But let's just say I didn't eat anymore fish after that....
